The total number of refugees evacuated is said to have reached 518,611 people.Meanwhile, Thailand said around 400 thousand people had also been displaced due to the heated border conflict again.
Cambodia and Thailand continue to attack each other on the borders of the two countries and have not shown any intention of making peace.Previously, United States President Donald Trump, facilitated by Malaysia, succeeded in seeking Cambodia-Thailand peace in July.However, war broke out again in early December.
The Cambodian government accused the Thai military of bombarding the gambling tourist city of Poipet, Thursday (18/12).According to the Cambodian military, Thai troops “dropped two bombs in the area of Poipet Municipality, Banteay Meanchey Province”.
