Corruption Eradication Commission
) arrested the Head of the District Prosecutor’s Office (Kajari) and the Head of Intelligence at the North Hulu Sungai District Prosecutor’s Office (HSU) through a sting operation (OTT) in South Kalimantan (
South Kalimantan
).
Monitoring at the KPK Building, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Friday (19/12), there were two people brought by the KPK to undergo examination.One person arrived first at around 08.19 WIB, then another person arrived at around 08.23 WIB.
Corruption Eradication Committee spokesperson Budi Prasetyo confirmed that the two people were Kajari HSU Albertinus P. Napitupulu and Head of the North Hulu Sungai Prosecutor’s Intelligence Section Asis Budianto.

“It’s true, among them were those arrested by Kajari, the Head of Intel, and private individuals who were suspected of being intermediaries,” Budi quoted as saying

Apart from the two prosecutors, Budi said that KPK investigators also arrested private parties who were suspected of being intermediaries.This case relates to alleged extortion.
“These parties will then be subjected to intensive examination, where the initial suspicion is that it was an act of extortion,” he said.
Budi also said that investigators also secured a certain amount of money.The amount is hundreds of millions of rupiah.
“The team also secured evidence amounting to hundreds of millions of rupiah in cash,” he said.
It is known that the Corruption Eradication Committee has 1 x 24 hours to determine the status of the parties arrested in the OTT.Currently, the parties arrested are still under investigation.
