Divorce process for the former Governor of West Java

and
Atalia Praratya
continues at the Bandung City Religious Court.Both are scheduled to participate in the mediation process.
Atalia Praratya’s attorney, Debi Agusfriansa, said that the next agenda for the trial is mediation which will be held tomorrow, Friday (19/12).
“Tomorrow the agenda is mediation,” said Debi to reporters, Thursday (18/12).

Debi did not explain further regarding her client’s presence at the mediation hearing.
Previously, the first trial of the divorce suit filed by Atalia Praratya against Ridwan Kamil was held at the Bandung Religious Court on Tuesday (17/12) with an initial agenda of examination.This trial was the first trial after the case was registered via the e-court system.
Atalia was not present in person at the trial and was represented by her attorney, Debi Agusfriansa.Atalia’s absence was said to be due to an official agenda.Debi emphasized that her client respects the legal process and has given full authority to the legal team.
Debi said that Atalia’s message in the lawsuit was simple, namely to pray for each other and hope for the best results for both parties.
He also said that the issues that had circulated in the public had been included in the lawsuit material, but could not be disclosed in detail.
Regarding the division of joint assets, Debi emphasized that this has not yet become a focus and is still waiting for developments in the divorce case.This lawsuit is also said to have been discussed with the family.
Meanwhile, Ridwan Kamil was also not present in person at the initial trial.He was represented by his attorney, Wenda Aluwi.
Wenda said his client was out of town.However, Ridwan Kamil is said to still respect the ongoing legal process and has appointed eight legal representatives to handle this case.
