Raka apologized for the incident where the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) car hit a number of students at a school in Cilincing, North Jakarta, Thursday (11/12).
“On behalf of the government, I apologize profusely and regret this incident. This incident must not be repeated,” Gibran said in his statement, Thursday (11/12).
Gibran has also asked law enforcement officials to thoroughly investigate the incident with the car delivering Free Nutritious Meals (MBG).

Gibran also asked law enforcement officials to enforce the applicable regulations consistently while also asking for a thorough evaluation so that similar incidents do not happen again.
“I encourage maximum medical treatment for the victims, as well as assistance and trauma healing for the students and teachers of SDN Kalibaru 01,” he said.
Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said that the victims of the incident reached 21 people.Some of them are undergoing treatment at Koja Regional Hospital and Cilincing Regional Hospital.
“To date, there are 21 victims recorded. Five are being treated at Koja Hospital, one is a teacher, four are at elementary school, and six are at Cilincing Regional Hospital. I have seen the five in Koja, hopefully there is nothing worse than that,” he said.
Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri has ordered the Metro Jaya Police Criminal Investigation Directorate Commissioner Iman Imanuddin and Metro Jaya Police Traffic Directorate Commissioner Komarudin to thoroughly investigate the incident.
“I will assign Dirlantas and Dirreskrimum to confirm the motive or incident, the incident that happened this morning at 06.39 WIB occurred at SD Negeri 01 school,” said Asep at Koja Regional Hospital, North Jakarta.
Asep said that currently the investigation process is still being carried out.A crime scene investigation (TKP) will also be carried out to investigate the cause of the incident.
Separately, Head of BGN Dadan Hindayana confirmed that BGN would fully support the investigation by the police.
He also ensured that similar incidents would not happen again in the future.
“We will also cooperate fully with the police in the investigation process to ensure that similar incidents do not happen again,” he said.
