“Isolated areas lack logistics, aid cannot be distributed to all locations. As a district we are confined, meanwhile there are 97 villages that cannot be accessed by land from Takengon,” said Mustafa, Sunday (7/12).
So far, aid has come from outside directly to Takengon and via Rembele airport to drop aid to evacuation points.
Then the government’s heavy equipment is also still working on the process of opening access to the 97 villages so that logistical assistance can be distributed from all levels.Likewise, in the districts of Bintang, Rusip Antara, Celala and Linge, access to the capital of Central Aceh, Takengon, is still being opened.
“The regional government’s heavy equipment is still working to open access to the 97 villages,” he said.
Apart from that, it is still difficult for him to obtain fuel for the mobility of logistics distribution vehicles to areas that can be reached.Then the area also lacks LPG gas.
“BBM and gas are running out, food is critical, medicines are still critical and the needs of children under five are also critical,” he said.
