LCR Honda racer Johann Zarco apologized to
Francesco Bagnaia
after the incident in
MotoGP Valencia 2025
at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Sunday (16/11).
Unlucky fate has not turned away from Pecco Bagnaia in MotoGP 2025. Not long after the start of the Valencia MotoGP, Bagnaia immediately fell in the gravel.
The trigger was a sweep from Johann Zarco at Turn 4 of the first Lap.The collision occurred when the racers were about to turn left.

From the right side, Zarco poked but it hit Bagnaia’s motorbike.Because of this incident, Bagnaia could not continue racing.

, Zarco overtook because he saw Fabio Quartararo having problems.However, because he was too hasty, Zarco bumped into Bagnaia.
“Really sorry for Pecco. I saw Quartararo struggling, I thought he had a [permanent] technical problem,” said Zarco.
“So the target is to overtake Fabio as quickly as possible, to avoid losing time behind him, then I will lose time, and it’s not easy to overtake.”
Zarco said he hit Bagnaia because he was trying to avoid Brad Binder.However, he had difficulty slowing down the motorbike.
“Because if I tried to enter Turn 4, I would hit Brad Binder. So I avoided Brad, but the way I avoided him, I went wide and I crossed Pecco’s line,” said Zarco.
