Interpol fugitive Dewi Astutik was arrested by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) together with Interpol and the TNI AD’s Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS) in
Cambodia
, in the case of two tons of crystal methamphetamine worth IDR 5 trillion.
Dewi was arrested on Monday (1/12), and BNN revealed a large-scale arrest by an international drug network of Dewi, who was suspected to be the main actor in the case.
The Head of BNN, Komjen Suyudi Ario Seto, will immediately pick up Dewi and fly her directly to Jakarta.

43 year old Dewi Astutik was once a female worker (TKW) in several Asian countries.His name was highlighted after being included in the Interpol wanted list in the case of smuggling two tons of crystal methamphetamine worth IDR 5 trillion.
According to the Head of Dukuh Sumber Agung Hamlet, Gunawan, Dewi once lived in Sumber Agung Hamlet and stayed after marrying a local man in 2009.

The residents of Sumber Agung Hamlet know Dewi as a migrant worker abroad.Gunawan also said that Dewi changed her country of work several times.

One of Dewi’s neighbors, Mbah Misiyem, said that Dewi often changes her appearance, such as her hairstyle and make-up in different styles.
“Initially the hair was short, but it often changed,” said Mbah Misiyem.
He also said that he last met Dewi in 2023, when Dewi said goodbye to work in Cambodia.
“At that time, he said goodbye after Eid, he said he wanted to work in Cambodia. I asked him why he was so far away, he answered that there was no work at home,” said Misiyem.

Before going to Cambodia, Dewi worked for decades in Taiwan.However, he returned home to Ponogoro for a short time before he left for Cambodia.
