Jakarta, hitclubapk3 Indonesia

Hanoi is wet and cold
on a day in early November. The rain didn’t stop falling on the ground from morning to night. This is my first visit to Vietnam.Motorbikes and cars are milling about on the streets, like in Jakarta. The horns shouted at each other.
In the heart of Hanoi, I watched the city’s movements from morning until midnight.
I and dozens of other journalists were invited by Vinfast Indonesia to witness the company’s business activities in its home country.Vinfast is an electric car manufacturer that has launched in Indonesia and is owned by the Vingroup conglomerate.

“We don’t just want to sell cars, but also build an ecosystem,” said Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto, CEO of Vinfast Indonesia during the visit.
One part of the ecosystem in question is battery charging stations in various places in Indonesia. Not only that, the manufacturer also built a factory in Subang, West Java as part of its business commitment in Indonesia.
Vinfast has released various brands such as VF3, VF5 and VF7.Some Jakarta residents may know VF5 as the Green Taxi that is busy milling about these days. When the factory in Subang operates in early 2026, production capacity is estimated to reach 50 thousand per year.
What about battery problems?
“We will buy the materials used to make batteries from certified manufacturers,” said Kariyanto.”Not only this, but also other components needed to meet ECG standards.”
“The Indonesian market is important,” said Madam Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup in a discussion in Hanoi.”We have a strong focus there.”
I think this group business conglomerate is serious about setting its nails in Indonesia. From factories, fuel stations to building your own battery company to create an ecosystem.
In Vietnam itself, Vingroup has various business networks.Starting from automotive, property, batteries, hospitals to information technology. In that country, I think, Vingroup has become the host in its own country.
To see how Vinfast produces their electric cars, I and other journalists were invited to visit the Vinfast factory covering more than 300 ha in Haiphong. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours from Hanoi.
While there, we entered the factory area accompanied by an explanation from local management.Good from the process
press shop
,
body shop
and
assembly shop
to produce thousands of Vinfast electric cars.
I saw the latest automation machines used in factories.Workers wearing helmets and uniforms.Someone is taking care of the body parts. There are also those who operate the monitor screen in front of them. Finally, we took turns doing it
test drive
various variants of Vinfast cars in special areas.
“Fast and straight. Straight,” said a companion as I drove the VF3.
I stepped on the accelerator further. The tiny car also penetrated the wind.
University Ecosystem
On the other hand, there is something that impresses me about other ecosystems, namely about Vin University.I visited VinUni which seemed luxurious to me.There are statues designed in European style, as are the buildings.
I was invited to explore the campus which spreads over an area of 23 ha.There are places to relax like in cafes. There’s room for lunch or running errands.Library to laboratory.
“This is a non-profit campus,” said Nguyen Hong Ha, Vice Provost of Academic Vin University.”Some of our alumni already work at Vingroup and some at other large companies.”
Nguyen said funding was also obtained from Vingroup and a number of other donors. Some of their names are immortalized on the ‘Legacy of Giving’ wall in one corner of the campus area.
I think this visit is increasingly important, especially looking at the ecosystem, commitment and future vision of business owners.
From business to campus. From building a business to how to give back to society.Of course, this is interspersed with various culinary themes: fish, soup, crunchy snacks and so on
Bia Viet
aka Vietnamese beer.
Electric cars, maybe not everyone thinks about them today, but Vinfast believes that will change. At least, sales of electric cars in the country have increased over the last 9 months, from 43,188 in 2024 to 55,225 in 2025.
Maybe this is like the dark and wet sky in Hanoi but it slowly turns brighter.
From the heart of Hanoi I watched, the gray sky slowly giving way to a streak of light on the horizon.
