BMKG warned of the potential for Cyclone Senyar to occur in the waters of the Malacca Strait.The cyclone triggered winds with speeds of up to 80 kilometers per hour and moved west towards mainland Aceh.In the next 6 to 24 hours, the regions of Aceh, North Sumatra, Riau and the Riau Islands are predicted to experience heavy rain which has the potential to cause hydrometeorological disasters such as floods or landslides.
