It has been more than a week since the Aceh Tamiang Regional Hospital has continued to operate serving residents with minimal equipment.Every day, at least 80 to 100 patients are served using the emergency room ward.Aceh Tamiang Hospital also serves residents from isolated villages such as Kaloy Village and Kaloy Hamlet.
One of the residents, Malini, had to travel 1.5 to 2 hours to the hospital.The most common complaints from patients are respiratory tract infections and diarrhea.Disconnected access is the main obstacle for residents to get assistance.
