KSP expert, Respiratori Saddam Al Jihad, stated that the Prabowo government is very serious about handling environmental issues, one of which is by issuing Presidential Regulation No.5 of 2025 concerning Forest Area Control (PKH) and establishing a PKH Task Force.Currently the PKH Task Force has restored 1.5 million hectares of forest throughout Indonesia.Saddam also stated that the government was preparing an evaluation and investigation as well as pushing for a revision of the Forestry Law so that flood disasters like those in Sumatra would not happen again.
