More than 200 residents’ houses in Umbulan and Sumbersari Hamlet, Pronojiwo District, Lumajang suffered serious damage due to the eruption of Mount Semeru on Wednesday.Many houses were buried in volcanic material, and some were even razed to the ground after being swept away by the powerful hot clouds.Apart from hundreds of houses, seven prayer rooms, one building at Supit Urang 02 State Elementary School, as well as the Al-Qur’an Education Park were also damaged.
