A man named Fendy (41) reported the suspicion
beating
which allegedly involved a member of the Bekasi Regency DPRD with the initials N.
The beating took place at a restaurant in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency on Wednesday (29/10) evening.At that time, Fendy came to the restaurant at around 20.30 WIB with several colleagues.
After the meal was finished, at around 23.30 WIB his colleagues said goodbye to go home and Fendy accompanied them to the front of the restaurant.At that time, he saw the driver of the DPRD member continuing to stare at him.

“I don’t know what it means. We are also worried, right, afraid that something will happen,” said Fendy at Polda Metro Jaya, Wednesday (26/10).
Long story short, Fendy returned to the restaurant while waiting to be picked up.At the same time, the driver also came inside and looked back at him.
Fendy then asked the council member directly about the intent and purpose of the driver who kept staring at him.
“Sir, why does your driver keep looking at me?”said Fendy imitating his question.
However, because the restaurant was busy and accompanied by music, the conversation between the two could not be heard clearly.Fendy also asked the same question again because he did not hear the answer clearly from the council member.
“(Then) the man immediately stood up, ran to my table with his friends. There were 14 people. ‘Are you challenging me?’he said.I answered no, I was just asking.”I just said that when I was beaten by them,” said Fendy.
Fendy claimed that he was first beaten by the DPRD member until finally he was beaten by many people.Fendy admitted that at that time he could only squat while protecting his face.
“Some used bottles, some used chairs, some kicked,” he said.
According to Fendy, according to him, this attack was also known by the security at Shao Kao Restaurant.Security and several waiters even tried to stop him and evacuate him to the kitchen area, then to the prayer room at the back of the restaurant.
“Security said, ‘Don’t go out yet, they’re still looking for you.'”I was told to wait until it was safe,” he said.
As a result of the beating, Fendy admitted that he suffered a number of injuries, including a lump in his eye, blood coming out of his face and arms, and bruises on his head from being hit by a bottle.
According to Fendy, he reported this case to the Polda Metro Jaya on October 30 2025. Based on information from investigators, he said this case had also been taken over by the Bekasi Police.
“I hope the perpetrator will be brought to justice soon,” he said.
