The US Department of Justice (DOJ) has begun releasing a number of records in its investigation of sexual predator cases

, this document is referred to by the DOJ as the ‘Epstein Library’.The documents include four sections, including court records, disclosures from the DOJ, public access information requests, and disclosures from US Congressional oversight committees.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said several thousand documents were released.Meanwhile, several hundred thousand more will be released in the coming weeks.
DOJ itself has uploaded new documents totaling around 3,900 files.The release features a number of never-before-published photos, including of politicians and celebrities in the loop.
Among the many documents released, there are several photos showing Bill Clinton and other famous figures, including Mick Jager, Michael Jackson and Diana Ross.
Other figures featured include former Duke of York Prince Andrew, his ex-wife Saraf Ferguson, actor Kevin Spacey and British tycoon Richard Branson.
There is also a video clip from inside a New York prison on the day Epstein died by suicide in 2019.
The name of US President Donald Trump himself does not appear too prominent in the latest documents released.However, the documents seem to feature quite a lot of former US President Bill Clinton.
Trump himself has appeared in Epstein documents before.Trump’s name appeared on the flight manifest of Epstein’s private plane.
Previously, Trump also blocked the release of documents investigating Epstein.However, as time passed, Trump bowed to pressure and signed a law requiring publication of the material by Friday.
Lots of sensors
However, the high level of censorship in the release of this document has disappointed many parties.This increases speculation that there is an attempt to cover up the truth.
The Democratic Party voiced its disappointment with the release.According to them, the release is far from what is mandated by law, which requires that all files be limited only by legal considerations and the victim’s privacy.
“The collection of heavily censored documents released by the Justice Department today is only a small portion of the total evidence,” said House Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
“Simply releasing a large number of censored pages violates the spirit of transparency and the letter of the law. For example, all 119 pages of one document were completely censored,” he added.
