Donald Trump
stated that the formation of the Gaza Peace Council would be announced in early 2026.
“We will do it early next year. The Peace Council will be one of the most legendary councils ever,” Trump told reporters at the White House, Wednesday (10/12).

Trump said the Gaza government monitoring body would consist of world leaders.
“Basically, it will be filled with the heads of the most important countries. They all want to be in it,” Trump was quoted as saying

The Peace Council is a key component of Trump’s proposed ceasefire agreement for the Gaza Strip, Palestine.This council is planned to play a supporting role in the administration of Gaza.
Trump has said he will lead the council.So far, it is not known who will be members of the Peace Council.
There was news that former British Prime Minister Tony Blair would be one of the members.However, a number of media reported on Tuesday (9/12) that Blair’s nomination to the Peace Council had been rejected because it was not approved by a number of Arab-Muslim countries.
Blair’s reputation was tarnished by his role in the US invasion of Iraq in 2003 and his failure to act as the Quartet’s envoy to the Middle East.
