Trump Praises Ahmed, Man Who Seized Weapon from Shooter in Sydney

, Ahmed Al Ahmed, who seized the shooter’s rifle at Bondi Beach, Sydney, Sunday (14/12).
Ahmed Al Ahmed dared to risk his life to ambush the perpetrator from behind and seize his weapon in the parking area.At that time the perpetrator fired several shots at the crowd who were celebrating the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.

“A very, very brave individual. Who directly attacked the shooter and saved many people,” Trump was quoted as saying

“A very brave man and now in the hospital with serious injuries. I have great respect for that man,” Trump added.
Trump also previously expressed his condolences and deep concern over the shooting tragedy at Brown University, Rhode Island and the shooting at Bondi Beach which killed 15 people.
“We are here to celebrate Christmas and I think today we loudly celebrate Hanukkah because (the shooting) was a barbaric attack, a clearly antisemitic motivated attack,” Trump said.
A total of 15 people died as a result of the shooting.The perpetrators are believed to be two people, one person who died is suspected by the Australian police as one of the suspects in the shooting.Meanwhile, another perpetrator had his weapon seized by Ahmed Al Ahmed.
43-year-old Ahmed Al Ahmed went viral on social media because his heroic action was caught on a 16-second amateur video camera.He ambushed the shooter in black who opened fire in the parking area.
Ahmed sneaked up from behind the car and immediately ambushed the shooter.He struggled with the perpetrator and then managed to seize the shooter’s rifle.
He pointed the weapon at the perpetrator who then ran away from Ahmed.After the perpetrator walked away, Ahmed placed the weapon on a large tree trunk.
Ahmed himself reportedly suffered two gunshot wounds after he ambushed and disarmed one of the shooters.
One of the Australian media, 7News, as quoted from NDTV, interviewed one of the eyewitnesses who was Ahmed’s cousin, Mustapha.
“He (Ahmed) is now in hospital, I don’t know for sure what’s going on inside. Hopefully he’s fine. He’s 100 percent a hero,” said Mustapha.
A number of Australian media then identified Ahmed as a Sydney resident living in Sutherland who owned a fruit shop on Bondi Beach.He is a father with two children.
