because they continue to fight and show no signs of wanting to make peace.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump was fed up with the talks.He just wants this war to end.

“The president is very frustrated with both sides in this war,” Leavitt told reporters on Thursday (11/12).

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky previously said there were many things he disagreed with in Trump’s peace proposal last month.The proposal contains 28 points, one of which urges Ukraine to hand over a number of territories to Russia.
According to Zelensky, the proposal benefits Russia more than Ukraine.Another example, Washington also just wants Ukraine to withdraw troops from parts of the eastern Donetsk region, which it plans to make a demilitarized zone.Meanwhile Russia was not asked to do so.
Furthermore, Trump’s proposal also stated that Moscow would remain in the southern region of Ukraine, even though they were asked to withdraw from the northern region that had not been annexed.
Due to much opposition, Ukraine finally revised Trump’s proposal and sent the dossier to Washington this week.Details of Ukraine’s revised proposal are not yet known.However, the proposal includes 20 points.
“We have two main points on which we disagree: the Donetsk region and everything related to it, as well as the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. These are two topics that we continue to discuss,” Zelensky said at a press conference.
