In the upload, it was stated that traffic flow from Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat (Statue Horse) heading to Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan (Gambir Station), was diverted to Jalan Kebon Sirih.
Meanwhile, the flow from the direction of the Tani Statue towards the Horse Statue is not diverted and can still be crossed by two lanes.
Based on the information gathered, the demonstration by Apdesi demanded that President Prabowo Subianto revoke a number of regulations, especially Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) number 81 of 2025 concerning the disbursement of village funds.
This regulation is considered to have stopped the distribution of Phase II Village Funds and diverted most of the village budget to programs that are not under the authority of the village government.
Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Susatyo Purnomo Condro said 2,155 joint personnel were deployed to secure the demonstration.
“Today we are providing opinion expression activities. I have ordered all personnel to work humanely and professionally, not to carry firearms, and to prioritize a dialogical approach,” he said.
