The stabbing occurred on Sunday (16/11) at around 20.36 WITA, starting when the victim, Muh Zainal (25) was riding with his wife, Nur (36) from his family’s house.
On his way home in Sudiang Village, Biringkanaya District, the victim passed the perpetrator, Serka AI (43).Suddenly the victim was stopped and immediately stabbed at the location.
According to Andik, the alleged perpetrator of the stabbing has now surrendered himself to POMAU.
“Just before dawn, the perpetrator surrendered and was taken into custody at POMAU,” he said.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment.However, the victim’s life could not be saved due to the stab wounds and he was declared dead.
Separately, the Head of Information for Koopsud II, Colonel Sus Aidil, said that the TNI AU member was being examined.
“The individual has surrendered himself to the Hasanuddin Air Base Satpom and has been detained to further undergo legal proceedings,” said Colonel Aidil when confirmed by journalists.
However, Aidil could not explain the motive for the stabbing incident until the victim died.
“Yes, that is being investigated,” he said.
