“The accusation that the person concerned supports one of the parties in the land dispute is not true. The TNI AD continues to uphold the principles of neutrality, professionalism, and never directs or assigns its personnel to be involved in matters that are not under the authority of the institution,” said Head of the Army Information Service, Colonel (Inf) Donny Pramono when contacted, Wednesday (19/11).
Donny explained that Achmad had provided clarification directly that he was not at the location of the dispute. From this clarification, Donny said that Achmad’s presence in Makassar at that time was related to a private event.
Apart from that, he stressed, it has nothing to do with official matters or institutional activities.
He said that some of the activities of the KSAD special staff there were welcoming the South Sulawesi Regional Police Chief and his Lemhannas colleagues.Achmad also, said Donny, attended an internal meeting discussing plans to prepare for the reunion of former Denintel Makassar members.
“All of these activities happened to take place in an area that was located close to an area that later became a public concern,” he said.
According to him, Achmad’s presence was around the location of the land dispute during the evacuation process by the Makassar District Court of an area of 16.4 hectares because the location of his activities was close to each other.
The land execution was carried out by the Makassar District Court over a land dispute between PT Gowa Makassar Tourism Development (GMTD) Tbk and PT Hadji Kalla, which is a company owned by JK.
“Nor did [Achmad] enter the land execution area, and was not involved in any process related to the case. His presence around the area was only because the event venue he was attending was not far from the location,” said Donny.
Disputes over land claimed to belong to JK have been cropping up for some time now.The 16.4 hectare (Ha) land is located on Jalan Metro Tanjung, Tamalate District, Makassar, South Sulawesi.
JK claims that the land is legally his and suspects that it was annexed or taken over by the land mafia.
Meanwhile, Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid opened his voice about JK’s anger.
Nusron said that the land dispute was an old case that had been going on since 1990, before he became Minister of ATR/BPN.
Nusron revealed that there were at least four parties involved in the land dispute case that made JK angry, namely PT Hadji Kalla, PT GMTD, which is affiliated with the Lippo Group, as well as Mulyono, and Manyombalang Dg.Solong.
Apart from that, he also explained that the land dispute was suddenly executed and had not gone through the process

so it requires repeat measurements.
“There was a court execution, a conflict between GMTD and other people, suddenly they were executed and the execution process had not yet gone through the process.

Nusron said that his party had sent a letter to the Makassar City District Court to question the execution process.
“We have sent a letter to the District Court in Makassar City, essentially questioning the execution process because it doesn’t exist yet

Lippo Group CEO James Riady denied that his party was involved in the land dispute in Makassar which annoyed JK.
“The land is not owned by Lippo. So it has nothing to do with Lippo. So we have no comment,” said James at the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas office, Monday (10/11).
Even so, James admitted that his company was one of the shareholders of PT Gowa Makassar Tourism Development (GMTD), which was one of the parties claiming to have rights to the disputed land.
“The land is owned by a local government company in the area called PT GMTD which is a public company, where Lippo is one of the shareholders,” he said
