Former coach of the Uzbekistan national team

After Friday prayers, Timur was immediately invited to the VIP room of the Istiqlal Mosque to chat with the prayer imam and preacher.The 44 year old coach seemed enthusiastic when talking.
Kapadze’s arrival in Indonesia was in the spotlight because his name was on the list of potential coaches for the Indonesian national team after officially parting ways with the Uzbekistan national team.
In a tit for tat, Kapadze also admitted that he was interested in dealing with Indonesia.So far there has been no official offer from PSSI, but there have been initial discussions, as revealed by the Uzbekistan news agency.
This 44 year old man started as head coach of Uzbekistan in 2025, after managing the U-23 team since 2021. He also served as interim coach of Uzbekistan in 2018.
One of Kapadze’s achievements with Uzbekistan was winning a ticket to the 2026 World Cup. After securing that ticket, Kapadze was replaced by Fabio Cannavaro in October 2025.
Currently, the position of coach for the Indonesian National Team is vacant.The National Team Body (BTN) has presented five potential coaches to PSSI.However, these names have not yet been published.
