Now with the Oasis Live ’25 Tour a huge success in 41 cities around the world, the band led by the Gallagher duo is starting to rethink a number of other plans as a follow-up to the tour.
According to an insider to The Sun and reported by the Daily Mail as released on Monday (24/11), the tour exceeded their expectations. The Gallagher duo also took a break to “reflect” on the scale of their achievements.
“Being back together on stage has been amazing for both of them, and the return of Bonehead guitarist [Paul Arthurs] for the final show has been phenomenal,” the source said.
“They are aware of what their fans want and know the demand will remain if they decide to release a new greatest hits album, or play more shows,” the source continued.
A number of other gig ideas also exist, such as a residency at the Etihad in the summer of 2026, as well as various gig offers at various major festivals such as Coachella and Benicassim. However, there is no concrete plan that has actually been agreed upon.
Even so, Liam Gallagher seems to want to maintain fans’ enthusiasm for welcoming Oasis back. This was seen when he replied to a request for more intake for fans from Oasis.
“How can I survive if there won’t be another tour next year? WE NEED MORE,” said fans, as reported by the Daily Mail.
“You will see me next year and the year after that and so on, just not sure yet if it will be with Oasis, we need to sit down and discuss these things,” replied Liam Gallagher.
“If it were all up to me, you know we would tour until we died because that would be the best thing in the world, but SADLY it doesn’t.”
Daily Mail
said he had contacted Oasis to ask for their response regarding the news.
