bombarded the gambling tourist town of Poipet on the border following war between the two countries which broke out again.
In a statement on Thursday (18/12), Cambodia’s Ministry of Defense said Thai troops “dropped two bombs in the Poipet Municipality area, Banteay Meanchey Province” at around 11.00 local time.
The Ministry of Defense said that at least four casinos in Cambodia were reportedly damaged due to Thai attacks.

, until now Thailand has not confirmed an attack on the city’s bustling casino center and is popular among gambling fans.
The city of Poipet is one of the favorite tourist sites of Thai people and is also one of the crossing cities between the two countries.
The latest fighting between the two Southeast Asian countries this month renewed and has killed at least 21 people on the Thai side and 17 people on the Cambodian side.
Fighting on the border between these two countries has also forced around 800,000 people to flee.
This conflict is rooted in territorial disputes related to the delimitation of the 800 kilometer long border created during the colonial era, as well as a number of ancient temple ruins located along the border line.
Bangkok and Phnom Penh blamed each other for triggering the latest clashes and traded accusations of attacks on civilians.
Thailand on Tuesday said between 5,000 and 6,000 of its citizens were still stuck in Poipet after Cambodia closed land crossings with its neighbor.
Meanwhile, Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior said the border closure was necessary to reduce risks to civilians amid the ongoing fighting.
Phnom Penh said air travel is the main option for those who want to leave conflict areas.
