Dirregident Korlantas Polri Brigadier General Wibowo said the public will be able to access this service from December 1 2025.
He explained that the expansion of this service was an important milestone in accelerating the National Police’s digital transformation, especially in technology-based public services.

“By increasing service coverage at 99 Satpas, we ensure that it is easier for people to access digital SIM renewal services throughout Indonesia,” he said in a written statement, Monday (1/12).
Wibowo said the SINAR application was launched with the aim of cutting bureaucracy, increasing transparency, and making it easier to process SIM extensions online.
Furthermore, he claimed that the use of SINAR services has also continued to increase significantly since it was first launched.Through the SINAR application, he said, the time required to extend a SIM has been reduced from 90 minutes to 15 minutes.
Wibowo said that people who use the application only need to come to the selected Satpas to take a photo and print their driver’s license.
Furthermore, he ensured that his party would continue to evaluate and develop the SINAR application features to support increasingly precise, fast and accountable services according to community needs.
“We want to ensure that the digital transformation of the National Police is felt by the public. Modernization of public services must touch all regions, not just big cities,” he concluded.
