Child in conflict with the law (ABH) suspected of being the perpetrator of the bomb explosion in
SMA 72 Jakarta
underwent head decompression surgery at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (11/11).
Head of Health and Medical Services at Polda Metro Jaya, Police Commissioner Martinus Ginting, said the operation was carried out after the perpetrator was transferred to the National Police Hospital to be given medical treatment.

“Today we also carried out decompression surgery on the skull. Because at the time of the incident there was decompression of the skull,” he said at a press conference at Polda Metro Jaya, South Jakarta.
He explained that one of the reasons for transferring the perpetrator was so that the medical treatment process could be maximized.Martinus said that the perpetrator is currently being monitored by neurologists and plastic surgeons.
“So we provide optimal care there and are treated there by neurologists and plastic surgeons,” he said.
Previously, an explosion occurred at SMAN 72 North Jakarta, Friday (7/11) at around 12.15 WIB, in the school mosque area during Friday prayers.
There were no fatalities in the incident.However, there were 96 people injured in the incident.
On the same occasion, Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri said that the perpetrator or child who was in conflict with the law was a closed person and rarely socialized with other people.
He said investigators discovered this after examining a total of 16 witnesses including the suspect, his family and students and teachers at the school.
“From the information we gathered, the Children in Conflict with the Law (ABH) involved are known to be private individuals and rarely socialize,” said Asep.
