shooting at Bondi Beach
, Sydney, reportedly had a firearms permit and used six rifles to carry out his shooting at the crowd celebrating the Jewish holiday, Hanukkah, Sunday (14/12).
The shooters, who were father and son, Sajid Akram (50 years) and Naveed Akram (24) killed 15 people in the action.

Sajid Akram also died at the scene, bringing the total number of dead to 16 in Australia’s most horrific shooting terror since the Port Arthur massacre.
Meanwhile, the child suffered serious injuries and was immediately rushed to hospital under tight police guard.
At least 40 people were injured as a result of the mass shooting.
New South Wales (NSW) Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon said the attack deliberately targeted the Jewish community celebrating Hanukkah.One 10 year old child was among the 15 victims killed as a result of the brutal shooting.
Lanyon then explained that the perpetrator obtained a firearms license in New South Wales 10 years ago and carried six registered weapons during the shooting at Bondi Beach, quoted from

One of the two shooters was identified by the police, but they found no indication that the shooting was planned.
NSW Premier Chris Minns said a regulatory overhaul was certain to take place following the terror shooting, including amendments to the state’s firearms laws.
“We need to convey a strong and clear rejection of antisemitism in all its forms. There is zero tolerance for racism or hatred of Jews in NSW or Australia,” Minns said.
“Whether it’s destructive and horrific acts of violence, or chants, slogans and internet posts. Wherever it is, we must fight antisemitism. It’s toxic. It’s like a cancer in a community. And, as you saw last night, it has devastating implications for the people of our country,” Minns added.
The shooter, Naveed Akram, was a bricklaying worker who had just been laid off a month ago.The mother, Verena, admitted that her son had told her he was going fishing.
NSW Police have searched the perpetrator’s home in Bonnyrigg and the villa where the two perpetrators were temporarily staying in Campsie.
Police also found a number of improvised explosive devices in a car on Campbell Parade which runs along the beach.The car was later linked to one of the shooters.
