) record workers who are victims of layoffs (

) during the period January to November 2025 reached 79,302 people.
Quoting the Satudata Ministry of Manpower website, West Java was the region that contributed the largest number of layoffs, reaching 17,234 people or around 21.73 percent of the total workforce affected by layoffs.
“In the period January to November 2025, there were 79,302 laid-off workers who were classified as JKP program participants. The largest number of laid-off workers in this period was in West Java Province, namely around 21.73 percent of the total reported laid-off workers,” quoted from Satudata Ministry of Manpower, Monday (22/12).

After West Java, in second place is Central Java with a total of 14,005 layoffs or 17.66 percent, and Banten with 9,216 people or 11.62 percent.
Then, DKI Jakarta with a total of 5,710 layoffs or 7.2 percent, and East Java with 4,886 people or 6.16 percent of the total workforce affected by layoffs.
Furthermore, the highest number of layoffs occurred in February 2025 with 18,516 people and in January 2025 with 10,025 people.
The following are the 5 provinces with the highest number of layoffs as of November 2025:
1. West Java: 17,234 people
2. Central Java: 14,005 people
3. Banten: 9,216 people
4. DKI Jakarta: 5,710 people
5. East Java: 4,886 people.
