He said that the government’s APBN was sufficient. Pras said that the government had a ready-to-use fund component for disaster preparedness.
“Enough. So in the APBN there is something called a Ready-to-Use Fund which is intended for disaster preparedness,” said Pras at Halim Perdana Kusuma Air Base, Jakarta, Wednesday (3/12).

Pras said that the government’s ready-to-use funds, at least in the last two days, were now in the range of IDR 500 billion.
Pras also said that Prabowo had also given direct instructions that if the Ready-to-Use Fund needed to be increased, the government was ready to add it.
“And this also applies to several related Ministries/Institutions. For example, the TNI and Police, we all see that the TNI and Polri are one of the front guards in the process of handling disasters, which of course requires financial resources, which we will also back up,” he said.
Apart from that, Pras said that until now the government had not received any incoming international aid.He stated that the Indonesian Government was still capable of overcoming the disaster problem that hit Sumatra.
“Even though we also represent the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, we would like to express our gratitude because there is so much attention from friendly countries. Both those who express concern and those who wish to provide assistance, we express our gratitude,” he said.
