Initial divorce lawsuit hearing

, will begin with a mediation stage at the Bandung Religious Court on Wednesday (17/12).
Public Relations of the Bandung Religious Court, Ikhwan Sofyan, explained that according to procedural law, the appointed panel of judges will summon the parties to attend the initial hearing.
Ikhwan said the initial stages of the trial included checking the identities of the parties and legal representatives.

He said that after these initial stages, the trial would continue with a mediation process.Determining whether the trial will be held openly or closed is the authority of the panel of judges.
“All cases with codes or lawsuits must go through the mediation stage first. After that, we continue with the examination of the case, starting from reading the lawsuit, answers, replicas, evidence, conclusions, to reading the verdict,” said Ikhwan as quoted

According to him, in the mediation process the parties are in principle required to be present in person.However, under certain conditions, attendance can be delegated to a legal representative.
The lawyer said that so far Atalia is likely to appear in person at the first hearing of her divorce lawsuit against RK, who is also a Golkar politician.
The head of Atalia’s legal team, Debi Agusfriansa, said that the certainty of attendance was still in accordance with the official schedule in question, even though so far it was scheduled to come.
“For the time being, regarding Mrs. Atalia’s presence tomorrow, she is still scheduled to attend. However, we are also still waiting for her official schedule,” explained Debi when contacted, Tuesday (16/12).
Debi emphasized that Atalia had given full trust to the legal team to represent and assist in the divorce lawsuit process.
“She (Atalia) said that she really respects the legal process and trial which will take place tomorrow,” he said.
Until this news was written, there had been no official statement from Ridwan Kamil regarding the trial agenda or the main case that would be discussed in court.
Previously, it was reported that Atalia filed a divorce suit against her husband, Ridwan Kamil, at the Bandung PA last week.
When confirmed earlier this week, Bandung City PA Registrar, Dede Supriadi, confirmed the registration of the divorce lawsuit.
“Yes, that’s right, it was registered between last Thursday or Friday [last Sunday],” said Dede when confirmed by telephone, Monday (15/12).
However, Dede has not revealed the details of the divorce lawsuit.
Atalia and Ridwan Kamil are known to have married on December 7 1996.
From that marriage, the two of them were blessed with two children, namely the late Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz and Camillia Laetitia Azzzahra.In 2020, the couple also adopted a boy named Arkana Aidan Misbach.
Ridwan Kamil’s name has recently come into the public spotlight following allegations of a personal relationship with Instagram celebrity Lisa Mariana.This claim was reported to the police.However, the results of the DNA test carried out by Bareskrim Polri stated that the DNA of the child in question was not identical to Ridwan Kamil.
Atalia is a member of Commission VIII DPR from the Golkar faction which is in charge of religious and social affairs.
He was elected in the legislative elections in 2024, in the same year as Ridwan Kamil’s nomination as Governor of Jakarta, although he later lost to Pramono Anung.
When he joined Golkar at the end of his term as Governor of West Java in early 2023, Ridwan Kamil received the position of Deputy General Chair for Voter Mobilization under the leadership of General Chair Airlangga Hartarto.
Meanwhile, in the era of General Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia’s leadership, Ridwan Kamil was appointed as Chairman of the Golkar DPP for Political Policy and Domestic Government in early November 2024.
As time went by, it was different with Atalia who appeared several times on the party agenda.Meanwhile, since the alleged affair with Lisa Mariana, RK has not appeared in public.
