Budiono said the cause of the accident was thought to be the bus speeding until it lost control.
“The evacuation process was completed at 4 in the morning. The cause of the accident is not yet known for certain, but it is suspected that the bus lost control while speeding from Jakarta to Yogyakarta early this morning,” said Budiono.
Bus number B. 7201 IV, which departed from Jatiasih Jakarta to Yogyakarta, had an accident in the early hours of Monday at around 00.30 WIB.It is suspected that the bus was speeding and lost control, hitting a road divider and eventually overturning.
