Now stadiums, arenas and match venues have been closed. There will be no more matches after the closing ceremony on December 20.
All that remains is the story, whether about victory, struggle, emotional or funny memories during the 33rd SEA Games. There is also a column of articles with a scathing tone in the Thai media highlighting the implementation of the SEA Games.
Columnist at

, B Bang Pakong, appreciated the achievements of the White Elephant Country athletes who were able to produce many medals and make the nation proud.
It’s just that there is another thing that he thinks tarnishes Thailand’s name, namely the matter of holding the 2025 SEA Games.
According to him, in contrast to the athletes who have fought for the country, the organizing committee is considered worthy of getting negative marks.
“If I had to rate the fighting spirit of Thai athletes at this SEA Games, on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give them a score of more than 100. On the other hand, the organizing committee received a completely negative rating for the management of this SEA Games,” wrote Bang Pakong.
“There is almost nothing that can or should be admired. This is an SEA Games that is held half-heartedly,” he continued.
Apart from sports being the main menu, the implementation of the 2025 SEA Games was also highlighted because of negligence such as flag errors which also happened to Indonesia on several occasions.
“There are many weaknesses and deficiencies published by foreign media. It is critical and completely devastating. This is arguably the most forgotten SEA Games in history, in terms of organization,” wrote the column.
