gained many achievements this year.
Taufik is reluctant to create a dichotomy between non-national training athletes and national training athletes.According to him, what needs to be highlighted is Indonesian athletes as a whole.

In the past year, many non-PBSI national training athletes won championship titles.Jonatan Christie is a name in the spotlight because he won the Korea Open, Denmark Open and Hylo Open.
Then in the men’s doubles number there are Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani who are also on the rise.According to Taufik, PBSI national training plays a role in forming athletes.
“Sports need a process. Jonathan also spent a long time at national training, Sabar/Reza and how old we are, we’ll see too. It’s not a problem of gacor,” said the former Olympic gold medalist.
“So, don’t let it become a polemic between outside the National Training Center and those inside the National Training Center, but rather a process. They have been there and this one is for Indonesia,” said the man who is also Deputy Chair of PP PBSI.
Apart from responding to the achievements of non-national training athletes, Taufik also responded regarding the target of two gold medals at the 2025 SEA Games. According to him, two gold medals is a realistic target.
“Yes, with the current situation of athletes, what target do we want? Do we want more? We’re just being realistic, right? We don’t want to be grandiose either. That’s what the target is,” he said.
PBSI sent 20 players to fight in the 2025 SEA Games. This is in accordance with the results of the Kemenpora Review Team. There have been several changes in the names of athletes sent to the 2025 SEA Games.
