, denies he will leave Ducati next season due to rumors of a dispute with general manager Gigi Dall’Igna.
This issue arose before the turn of the year, which is the final stage of preparation for every MotoGP team, including Ducati, in welcoming the 2026 season.
The news of the rift started with Tardozzi’s statement last season which said that Ducati was late in understanding Francesco Bagnaia’s needs.

Tardozzi also immediately dismissed the slanted news.The 66-year-old man also wondered about the emergence of the issue of cracks at Ducati.
“These rumors are absurd and unfounded. I know my relationship with Gigi Dall’Igna, Mauro Grassilli and Claudio Domenicali,” said Tardozzi.
“We smiled, wondering why it appeared, but I repeat there is no basis for it. There are no ‘internal rumors’. My relationship with Ducati is really solid,” added Tardozzi.
Davide Tardozzi is considered an important figure in Ducati management since he retired as a racer in 1992.Tardozzi’s role started from the Ducati World Superbike team and then to MotoGP.
The only time Tardozzi was absent at Ducati was in 2010 when he joined the WSBK BMW team.After that, Tardozzi returned to Ducati when Francesco Bagnaia won the 2022 MotoGP.
