Trump’s participation is part of a long tradition of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), which annually tracks Santa’s sleigh ride around the world.
When receiving a call from two children aged four and ten years from Oklahoma, Trump was asked why Santa Claus had to be tracked.

During around a dozen telephone calls with the First Lady, Trump repeatedly praised the current condition of the United States.He said his country was in “extraordinary condition” with “great (economic) numbers.”
A unique moment occurred when an eight-year-old girl from Kansas declared that she did not want coal as a Christmas gift (western tradition says that naughty children will be given coal).
Responding to this, Trump defended the energy industry with his typical speaking style.”You mean clean, beautiful coal. I have to say that, sorry,” Trump said.

In another call with a child from North Carolina, Trump was asked if Santa would be angry if no one set aside cookies for him.Trump replied Santa probably wouldn’t be angry, but would be “very disappointed.”

He also touched on domestic politics when talking to a five-year-old boy from Pennsylvania.Trump professed his love for the state and claimed that Republicans won “a landslide” there in the last election.
Closing the series of activities, Trump uploaded a message on the Truth Social platform with a contrasting tone.”Merry Christmas to all, including the ‘Radical Leftist Trash’ who did everything they could to destroy our country, but failed miserably,” Trump wrote.
