arrested four men for dressing as actors in the British series, Peaky Blinders.
The Independent
reported that the four men were arrested in Herat Province for “violating Islamic values”.

According to Taliban officials, the four men, all in their early 20s, are currently being taken to a rehabilitation center.
“A program to improve their behavior has been started. We, Alhamdulillah, are Muslims and Afghans. We have our own religion, culture and values,” the spokesman for the Taliban ministry for policy dissemination and crime prevention, Saif Khyber, was quoted as saying

Before being arrested, the four men went viral on social media.Photos and videos of them looking like the “Shelby family” in Jebrael City, Herat, have been watched millions of times.
In a widely circulated video, the four Afghan men are seen wearing neat suits with vests, ties, flat caps and coats.They travel around the city by car or on foot.
They are also seen smoking cigarettes like cigars in the video.
Peaky Blinder is a historical crime drama series set in Birmingham, England.This series tells the story of a fictional criminal gang set against the backdrop of World War I.
The series stars Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby, Helen McCrory as Elizabeth “Polly” Grey, Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby, and Sophie Rundle as Ada Shelby.
According to the Taliban, the four men had promoted “foreign-style activities” that were incompatible with “Islamic values and Afghan culture.”Apart from being arrested, they were also asked to apologize to the Afghan people.
The Taliban are quite strict in practicing the teachings of the Islamic religion.Afghan men are required to grow long beards and wear the country’s traditional clothing, the salwar kameez, which is complemented by a skullcap or turban.
Apart from being tough on men, the Taliban are also tough on women.Afghan women, both children and adults, are prohibited from receiving education.
The Taliban also prohibit all forms of entertainment, such as music and television broadcasts, on the grounds that they do not comply with their Sharia law.
