One day, Sawyer sees David Strine (Joshua Leonard), his stalker, working as an officer under the alias George Shaw.Sawyer immediately called his mother, Angela (Ami Irving), by borrowing Nate’s secret cell phone.
However, David gives Sawyer a large dose of methylphenidate, making him appear insane.That night, when Angela arrives to try to get Sawyer out, David walks in on her disguised as a hotel employee, and kills her.
David also tortured Nate and then killed him with a fentanyl overdose.
Sawyer then finds Nate’s cell phone under his pillow, with a picture of Nate badly beaten.Sawyer alerted staff, who then dismissed him and placed him in solitary confinement.
