The following is a synopsis of 21 Bridges on Trans TV Cinema.
Andre Davis is a successful member of the New York City Police Department (NYPD), following in the footsteps of his father who was killed when he was only 13 years old.
The absence of a father figure since childhood meant that Davis often lost control and gained a reputation as a killer of criminals during his time on duty.However, he was not happy with that label.
One day, there was a plan to rob 30 kilograms of cocaine from a wine shop in Brooklyn.This grand theft operation was initiated by Michael Trujillo (Stephen James) and Ray Jackson (Taylor Kitsch).

Police officers also arrived in ambush to handle this big case.However, Ray, who panicked, strafed them with live bullets and killed seven police officers on the spot.
One policeman who was seriously injured later died while in hospital.Ray and Michael managed to leave with 50 kilograms of cocaine in their hands.
Davis, who is known as a police officer with a good reputation, is assigned to handle this case with detective Frankie Burns (Sienna Miller).
They then get a report that Ray and Michael are almost out of bounds towards New York City.If these two criminals manage to leave New York, then handling this case will no longer be under the authority of the NYPD.
Davis had to think quickly in making decisions so as not to fail in solving the case.He immediately gave the order to close 21 bridges that connect New York with other regions.
Behind the pursuit, Davis actually uncovered a large conspiracy that was connected to his past experience with the case.
21 Bridges is a film directed by director Brian Kirk with a script written by Adam Mervis and Matthew Michael Carnahan.
Apart from Chadwick Boseman, 21 Bridges also stars Sienna Miller, Stephan James, Taylor Kitsch, Keith David, and J.K.Simmons.
Premiering in United States cinemas on November 22 2019, 21 Bridges managed to gross US$49 million worldwide with a budget of US$33 million.
