The crowd at Biondi Beach, Sydney, Australia increased to 12 people according to local police.In addition, it was said that 29 people were injured in this incident, including two police officers.

New South Wales Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon said at a press conference that the police were investigating whether there was a third perpetrator involved in the incident.Then it was said that the bomb squad was handling a device suspected to be a homemade bomb.
This attack occurred during the Jewish celebration, Hanukkah, on a famous tourist destination beach which is busy with local people and tourists.
Witnesses said the shooting lasted about 10 minutes, causing hundreds of people to scatter into the streets and nearby parks.Police said about 1,000 people attended the Hanukkah event.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese immediately convened a national security council meeting after the incident and condemned the attack.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog said that Jews who had gone to light the first candle of Hanukkah celebrations on the beach had been attacked by “vile terrorists”.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said he was shocked by the shooting and said the Australian government had to “wake up” after countless warnings.
“This is the result of the anti-Semitic rampage on the streets of Australia over the past two years, with the anti-Semitic and provocative call ‘Globalize the Intifada’ materializing today,” Saar said.
Muslim groups also condemned the shooting.
“These acts of violence and crime have no place in our society. Those responsible must be held fully accountable and face the full force of the law,” said the National Imams Council of Australia, the NSW Imams Council and the Australian Muslim community in a statement.
“Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families and everyone who witnessed or was impacted by this extremely traumatic attack,” they said.
Video circulating on X shows people on beaches and parks scattering as several shots and police sirens are heard.
One video shows a man dressed in a black shirt firing a large gun before being knocked out by a man in a white T-shirt who grabs the weapon from him.Another man was seen firing a gun from an overpass.
Another video showed two men being pressed to the ground by uniformed police on a small pedestrian bridge.Officers are seen trying to save one of the men.
Reuters confirmed the video was from verified backup footage showing the same man.
