reportedly died due to possible exposure to chemicals in Istanbul on Wednesday (19/11).
This allegation was revealed through the forensic report of the Istanbul Medical Institute.

On Thursday (20/11) two children died, then the mother the following day.Until Monday (17/11), the father was still receiving intensive care before finally dying.
Turkish prosecutors began the investigation process with an initial focus on suspected food poisoning.A total of 11 people were arrested in connection with the incident.
However, the forensic report on the samples of the mother and two children shows that their deaths due to food poisoning is a remote possibility.
“Basically, they died due to suspected chemical poisoning triggered by the conditions of the hotel where they lived,” the forensic report was quoted as saying

Previously, the family was on holiday in Türkiye, but last week they became ill after dining in the seaside area of Ortakoy, under the bridge that crosses the Bosphorus.
Turkish media also previously said a substance was sprayed in the hotel’s ground floor rooms to treat bed bugs.
The aim of the spraying is to prevent bed bugs from spreading to the family room on the first floor through the bathroom ventilation.
On Saturday (15/11), the hotel in the Fatih area was evacuated, after two other guests were taken to hospital with the same symptoms.The hotel was then sealed on Sunday (16/11).
The report said final conclusions will be provided after further analysis is carried out.
“Pathological, microbiological and toxicological analysis of maternal and child samples will provide certainty regarding the cause of death,” the report said.
The forensic report also stated that samples of chemicals used in the hotel would be examined by the chemistry department at the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
