National Disaster Management Agency (

) provides the latest information regarding the number of victims who died due to floods and landslides in three provinces in Sumatra.As of Sunday (14/12), the death toll had increased to 1030 people.
“For the death toll, this has increased by 14 people.

.”From 1,016 people on Sunday, December 14, now there are 1,030 people,” said Head of the BNPB Disaster Information and Communication Data Center, Abdul Muhari, in a press conference, Monday (15/12).
The additional deaths were spread across three provinces with details of seven people in Aceh, six people in North Sumatra and one person in West Sumatra.

Meanwhile, the number of missing victims has decreased by six people today, from 212 people to 206 people.
Then for the number of refugees, today it is 608,940 people, down from yesterday’s 624,670 people.Aceh is still the province with the most refugees, namely 572,862 people.
Of the three provinces affected by the disaster, there are 28 districts that are still under extended emergency response status.
“Aceh has 12 regencies/cities, North Sumatra 8 regencies/cities, and West Sumatra 8 regencies/cities,” he said.
The recovery process, especially areas that are still in emergency response status, will focus on five aspects, namely seeking help, fulfilling logistics distribution, opening land access in particular.
Then recovery of the communications sector, and recovery of the energy sector, in this case electricity and fuel.
The hospital began to gradually operate
Indonesian Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin said that hospitals affected by the Sumatran flood disaster were gradually starting to operate.
“Regarding the disaster. We had 41 hospitals in Sumatra, Sir, which were not operating on November 26. Now, thank God, 100 percent have started operating, although gradually,” said Budi Gunadi in front of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the Plenary Cabinet Session, State Palace, Jakarta, Monday.
Budi Gunadi said that the units in the affected hospitals were gradually starting to operate.
For example, there are hospitals that only operate the emergency room unit, there are also those that operate the operating room first.
“Later we will continue to improve this so that we can provide full service,” he said.
Not only hospitals, Budi Gunadi said that around 500 affected Community Health Center units have also gradually started operating.
He said of that number, currently 414 are operational, leaving around 50 units that are not yet operational.
“It is important for him to serve the health of the people who still live at home and also serve the health of the people in the refugee camps,” he said.
