Three people died inside
accident
series involving one motorbike and two cars on Jalan Laksda Adisutjipto Km 7.5, Dusun Janti, Caturtunggal, Depok,
Sleman
, DIY, Tuesday (2/12) morning.
The three motorized vehicles involved in this deadly traffic accident included Yamaha Nmax, Mitsubishi Pajero and Toyota Innova.
Head of Public Relations for the Sleman Police, AKP Salamun, explained that this incident occurred at around 06.45 WIB.The accident started when the Yamaha Nmax was traveling from west to east on Jalan Laksda Adisutjipto.

Arriving at Jalan Laksda Adisutjipto KM 7.5, the Yamaha Nmax driver tried to overtake the Mitsubishi Pajero which was driving in front of him.
Salamun added that it was suspected that due to lack of concentration, the Yamaha Nmax motorbike hit the road divider when trying to overtake the Pajero.
“The motorbike then swerved, hit a tree and fell into the path of another vehicle,” said Salamun in his statement, Tuesday.
According to Salamun, the Mitsubishi Pajero driver had tried to stop the car when he saw the driver and two Nmax passengers who had fallen in front of him.
However, a Toyota Innova was driving from the west at the same time.The driver was unable to control the speed of the vehicle so it hit the back of the Pajero and triggered a series of collisions.
“The impact caused the Pajero to be pushed forward and run over the victims who fell,” added Salamun.
As a result of this incident, three people each with the initials GP, TP and NWU, died.The three of them are Yamaha Nmax riders and pillions.
“The victim suffered serious injuries to the head and body,” explained Salamun.
Based on Salamun’s information, two victims were declared dead at the scene.Meanwhile, another person breathed his last breath while on his way to be referred from PDHI Hospital to Bhayangkara Regional Police Hospital, DIY.
“All the victims are now at Bhayangkara Hospital for further treatment. The drivers of the Toyota Innova and Mitsubishi Pajero were not injured,” he concluded.
