Street Fighter
officially released.The clip sees Chun-Li, Ken, Ryu and other characters from the hugely popular video game franchise come to life on the big screen.
The trailer premiered during the 2025 Game Awards, where the film’s cast took to the stage to introduce the film’s first trailer.

All scenes about boxing and kicking.The trailer establishes its entire atmosphere through movement, not monologue, making it clear that this adaptation is here for the fight.
Ryu is the first character to appear on screen.He practiced hard in a secluded place that reflected the “energy of a warrior monk.”

Then the atmosphere changes when Chun-Li appears with an urban battle scene that moves like electricity, full of her trademark speed, precision and grace.
And right after that, Guile shows up to beef up the story in classic military stakes.military insignia, battlefield toughness, the whole global conflict package that fans will instantly recognize.
Several other fighters appear in brief footage.While the Street Fighter trailer doesn’t spend much time highlighting each character, fans will recognize the silhouettes, stances, and fighting styles that reference classic video games.
The Street Fighter film will be set in 1993. This live-action Street Fighter will tell the story of estranged Street Fighter fighters, Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo).
“They find themselves in contention again when the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament, a brutal clash of fists, fate and fury,” reads the official synopsis.
“But behind this fierce battle lies a deadly conspiracy that forces them to face each other and confront the demons of their past. And if they don’t succeed, it’s game over!”
Apart from Koji, Centineo and Liang, other stars involved in this film are Cody Rhodes as Guile, Orville Peck as Vega, 50 Cent as Balrog, and Jason Momoa as Blanka.

There are also Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim, Oliver Richters as Zangief, Hirooki Goto as E. Honda, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Roman Reigns as Akuma, and Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki.
As well as Eric André as Don Sauvage, Mel Jarnson as Cammy, Rayna Vallandingham as Juli and Alexander Volkanovski as Joe.
Street Fighter was directed by Kitao Sakurai and the screenplay was written by Dalan Musson.Legendary as the production house is collaborating with Japanese video game developer Capcom, while Paramount Pictures is distributing the film.
Street Fighter will be released October 16, 2026 in cinemas.
