The Indonesian National Futsal Team is in a tight situation ahead of the final match against Thailand, Friday (19/12).Indonesia needs a win to win the gold medal, while Thailand only needs a draw to be the best.
So far, Thailand has been the ruler of men’s futsal at the SEA Games.They have always won gold medals since futsal was competed at the SEA Games in 2007. Not to mention the fact that the Thailand vs Indonesia match was played in front of many Thai supporters.

But in fact, Indonesia was able to end the game with a landslide victory 6-1.This victory led the Indonesian National Futsal Team to create history in winning gold at the SEA Games.
“Well, I think it is an extraordinary moment for Indonesian Futsal. I am very lucky to have the opportunity to lead these players and staff.”
“I think we are truly ‘One Family’ and we represent the dreams of many young boys in Indonesia who want to take up futsal and practice it. And in the future, we want to become one of the most competitive national teams in Asia,” said Souto as quoted by the Indonesian Futsal Federation.
Souto also admitted that the victory against Thailand in front of supporters was a great success.
“Playing against Thailand in front of their fans is always a big challenge.”
“However, the players remained calm, focused and carried out the game plan very well. This gold medal is not only for the team, but for all Indonesian people,” said Souto.
