Garbage buildup

Usually, starting from the Taman Tekno roundabout and in front of UPTD Cipeucang, there are lines of garbage trucks waiting in line to enter.
“What is certain is that currently DLH is carrying out arrangements in Cipeucang,” said Secretary of the Communication and Information Service, Ahmad Syatiri when confirmed.
Upon arrival at the entrance to the Cipeucang landfill area, vehicles can only reach the bridge.Transport vehicles can no longer enter because the land has been covered by mountains of rubbish.
There are at least 11 excavator units dredging up mountains of rubbish.The heavy equipment is making terraces to prevent landslides.
The rubbish that has piled up into mountains is disrupting residential areas of local residents.
Agus, a resident of Kampung Curug Serpong RT 06 RW 04, Serpong District, said that the mounting rubbish had overflowed into the houses of local residents.
Apart from that, said Agus, leachate water from the waste has flowed into residents’ homes and the surrounding environment.
“The smell is already strong and at night the flies gather in everyone’s house. Then the mosquitoes are getting worse,” he said.
Agus asked the South Tangerang City Government to immediately dredge up the rubbish that had collapsed into residential areas.
“The cars for disposal are closed until the Cipeucang landfill management agrees to an agreement that has been made jointly between the management and local residents,” he said.
The arrangement of waste at the Cipeucang TPA means that disposal transportation has been temporarily stopped.The cessation of waste transportation since the last week has resulted in a buildup of rubbish on various roads.

The South Tangerang City Government has raised its voice regarding the strong smell of rubbish around the Ciputat area, South Tangerang, due to the presence of this rubbish which is not transported by the municipal government.
The Mayor of South Tangerang, Benyamin Davnie, said that TPA) Cipeucang, Serpong, was currently under repair, disrupting the process of transporting waste at several points.
“The Cipeucang TPA is currently being reorganized and repaired by terracing and dewatering, so it is disrupting the transportation of waste,” said Benyamin when contacted, Friday (12/12).
Terracing is the rearrangement of the slopes of waste piles to make them look like stairs.Meanwhile, dewatering reduces the water content in mountains of waste.
Benyamin said that his party is targeting the repairs to be completed by the end of December.
“I hope it will be finished by the end of December,” he said.
Residents complained about the presence of rubbish on several roads that had not been picked up.The presence of this rubbish causes a pungent odor.
For example, in the Ciputat area.On Friday (12/12), because it had not been picked up for a long time, the rubbish started to pile up.A similar view was also seen on the flyover to the Great Mosque, Ciputat.
