The Class I Immigration Office, Special Immigration Checkpoint (TPI) at Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Soetta) Tangerang, Banten, recorded that as many as 727 foreign nationals (WNA) had been refused entry to Indonesia in the 2025 period.
“During crossing monitoring, Soekarno-Hatta Immigration officers carried out 727 entry refusals for foreign nationals,” said Head of the TPI Soekarno-Hatta Special Class I Immigration Office, Galih P. Kartika Perdhana in Tangerang, Sunday.
He said that the act of rejecting hundreds of foreigners was a firm step from Soetta Airport Immigration in implementing the rules in accordance with applicable laws.

Meanwhile, the reason why foreigners are prohibited from entering Indonesian territory is due to problems with permits and passport deadlines.
“This step was taken to ensure security and compliance with laws and regulations,” he said.
Apart from foreigners, Galih said, Soetta Immigration has also postponed the departure of 1,847 Indonesian citizens as a form of implementing selective immigration policies.
Meanwhile, for service results throughout 2025, the party has advanced services to 7,380 public information requests and followed up on 156 public complaints throughout 2025.
“From the aspect of law enforcement and immigration supervision, throughout 2025, 187 Immigration Administrative Actions and 5 pro justitia cases will be carried out,” he said.
