One of the naturalized Malaysian players who was punished

, Gabriel Palmero, reportedly took part in a running event in Spain.
Palmero carried out this activity to fill his free time in Los Llanos de Aridane, Santa Cruz de Tenerife region, Spain, last weekend.
Palmero shared the moment via Instagram Story.On that occasion, this Spanish-born player took a photo with two trophies at the finish line.

, the 23 year old player took part in running events to maintain his stamina and fitness even though he no longer has a club after being kicked out by Tenerife on November 7.
Palmero received this unfortunate fate after the player was returned by Unionistas de Salamanca from loan in early November because of this problem.
Palmero is one of seven naturalized Malaysian players punished by FIFA for using fake documents.
Apart from Gabriel Palmero, the six other players who were punished were: Facundo Garces, Rodrigo Holgado, Imanol Machuca, Joao Figueiredo, Jon Irazabal and Hector Hevel.
The seven players were punished with a fine of 2,000 Swiss francs and banned from playing for 12 months.Meanwhile, the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) was fined 350,000 Swiss francs or the equivalent of IDR 7.3 billion.
Currently, FAM is submitting an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) after FIFA rejected its first appeal.
