Utara, who is being treated at the Jakarta Islamic Hospital (RSIJ) Cempaka Putih, is still traumatized.
“Of course they (SMA 72 explosion victims) are still traumatized, of course they are still traumatized, but yes, we will accompany them slowly,” said Gus Ipul after visiting the victims at the Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital, Sunday (9/11).
He said that assistance and trauma healing would be carried out by the Ministry of Social Affairs.Apart from that, there is assistance from the Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital and the Indonesian Police (Polri).

However, Gus Ipul cannot provide an estimate of how long the trauma healing process will take to complete.He just emphasized that everything depends on the condition of each victim.
“Our team, of course together with the parents, will meet regularly. We will carry out assessments, including with the KPAI (Indonesian Child Protection Commission),” he said.
Even though the victims are still traumatized, Gus Ipul said the condition of the 13 patients being treated at RSIJ Cempaka Putih had gradually improved.He detailed that there were 11 inpatients, 1 patient being treated in the High Care Unit (HCU), and 1 other in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf emphasized that he had not met the alleged perpetrator who caused the SMA 72 explosion, who was said to be also being treated at RSIJ Cempaka Putih.He admitted that he only visited students who were being treated in the inpatient room.
“Thank God, in general his condition (of the SMA 72 explosion victims) is improving. That’s what I need to say first, thank God his condition is improving,” said Gus Ipul.
“Of course the (central) government will provide full financial support. Later, perhaps in collaboration with the Governor of Jakarta, Pak Pramono Anung, we will share the tasks. After that, the Ministry of Social Affairs will also provide the necessary support later from this hospital, starting from rehabilitation, recovery periods, until perhaps later if needed with empowerment programs,” he stressed.
The explosion incident occurred at SMA 72 which is located on Jalan Prihatin Number 87, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta on Friday (7/11) at around 12.15 WIB.
The origin of the explosion came from a mosque located within the school area.At that time, the SMA 72 mosque was filled with congregants performing Friday prayers.
The total number of victims in this explosion incident reached 96 people.There are still 28 patients being treated, namely 13 people at the Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital, 14 people at Yarsi Hospital, and 1 other person at Pertamina Jaya Hospital.
