on Thursday (11/13), newly uncovered emails indicated that Donald Trump, who is now US President, knew about Epstein’s sexual crimes.Epstein – who is said to have been friends with Trump – died by suicide in federal prison in 2019.
Democratic members of the US House of Representatives Oversight Committee say the contents of at least three emails raise serious questions about Donald Trump and his connection to Epstein’s horrific sex crimes.Trump, via his Truth Social social media account, even said that the Democrats were using it to divert their failure regarding the US ‘Shutdown’.

“Democrats are trying to bring up the Jeffrey Epstein hoax again because they will do anything to avoid how bad they were during
shutdown,
and many other problems,” Trump wrote.
The US President’s Office, the White House, also accused the Democrats of spreading a ‘false narrative’ after they released an email containing statements accusing Trump of knowing about Epstein’s sexual crimes.
“The Democratic Party selectively leaked emails to liberal media to create a false narrative to defame President Trump,” US Presidential Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said in an official statement.
He also said the material contained in the email was a hoax designed to cloud the results of the upcoming vote to end the Shutdown that Trump claimed was a victory for the Republican Party.
“These stories are nothing more than a bad faith attempt to divert attention from President Trump’s historic accomplishments,” Leavitt said.
“Every reasonable American can see through this hoax clearly and clearly diverting attention from the reopening of the government,” he added.
Trump has previously repeatedly denied claims that he knew about Epstein’s sex trafficking activities.
But the Epstein scandal has proven difficult for Trump to overcome, including the Democrats’ newly released emails.
In an email dated April 2011 addressed to his longtime partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein asserted that Trump spent a lot of time with a woman.The woman was later suspected to be Virginia Giuffre.

Epstein also confirmed in another letter that Trump spent hours at his home with an unnamed victim.
But the White House said Giuffre – who died by suicide in April – had repeatedly stated that Trump was not involved in any wrongdoing.
