The majority of Asian currencies fell.The Japanese yen fell 0.2 percent, the Singapore dollar minus 0.05 percent, the Malaysian ringgit fell 0.21 percent, the South Korean won fell 0.06 percent, and the Philippine peso fell 0.22 percent.Meanwhile, the Thai baht rose 0.06 percent.
Meanwhile, the currencies of developed countries vary.The European euro rose 0.16 percent and the Canadian dollar rose 0.03 percent.Meanwhile, the Australian dollar was minus 0.03 percent and the Swiss franc fell 0.06 percent.
Doo Financial Futures analysis Lukman Leong said the rupiah failed to stem the US dollar which strengthened after the minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting which
hawkish
