RSIJ Reveals the Condition of the Suspected Perpetrators and 13 Victims of the SMAN 72 Explosion

still being treated at the Jakarta Islamic Hospital (RSIJ) Cempaka Putih until Sunday (9/11) afternoon at around 13.27 WIB.
This number is 1 less than what is written on the RSIJ Cempaka Putih Service Post information board.In the morning, at around 9.30 WIB, there were still 14 patients being treated at the hospital.
RSIJ Cempaka Putih Main Director Pradono Handojo explained that 11 people were in the inpatient room.Meanwhile, 1 person is being treated in the High Care Unit (HCU) and 1 other patient is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

“The condition of the HCU and ICU (patients) is that their vital signs are stable. However, it still cannot be said to be good enough to allow them to be transferred to the inpatient room. Our team, specialist doctors, continue to monitor 24 hours. Hopefully it will gradually improve,” he explained at the Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital, Sunday (9/11).
“Meanwhile, those in the inpatient pavilion, hopefully in the next 3 to 5 days they will be able to be released again, according to the condition of their respective injuries and the doctor’s assessment,” added Pradono.
The condition of the alleged perpetrator
Pradono also answered about the condition of the alleged perpetrator who caused the explosion at SMA 72. He emphasized that RSIJ Cempaka Putih was not given the authority to explain in detail to the public.
The Director of the Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital only emphasized that his party was providing treatment to all those affected by the North Jakarta 72 High School explosion, including the alleged perpetrator.
“We at the hospital focus on all victims, both victims and suspects (perpetrator). However, we are not authorized to tell the story because the person concerned, the suspect, is also still in the process of being investigated and it is within the authority of the National Police,” said the Director.
“What we can say is that all (SMA 72 explosion victims) who are being treated at the Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital are in stable and improving condition,” said Pradono.
Pradono even claimed that there was 1 victim who could go home this afternoon.However, he did not specify exactly when the victim would return.
“Thank God, it is reported that this afternoon we will be able to go home. In general, everything is improving gradually. We ask for support from all elements of the nation to pray that the children can return home soon and can return to school,” he said.
The Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) also said that students at SMA 72 North Jakarta would return to the teaching and learning process on Monday (10/11), but online.This process will be evaluated periodically and it is hoped that normal offline learning will be held starting Monday (17/11).
The explosion incident occurred at SMA 72 which is located on Jalan Prihatin Number 87, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta on Friday (7/11) at around 12.15 WIB.
The origin of the explosion came from a mosque located within the school area.At that time, the SMA 72 mosque was filled with congregants performing Friday prayers.
The total number of victims in this explosion incident reached 96 people.There are still 28 patients being treated, namely 13 people at Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital, 14 people at Yarsi Hospital, and 1 other person at Pertamina Jaya Hospital.
